# QUE NO SE ACABEN LAS PALABRAS Our Program started after Hurricane Maria hit the island septembre 21st, 20017. During the critical months of September until May, 2018, we visited 68 municipalities, communities and shelters, and reached out to 9,638 people, offering arts and healing workshops, referrals to health and psychological specialists and supporting schools in their re-opening process. We still support schools and communities by establishing “Secure Reading Points” in community centers and offering free expression and creative writing workshops, tutorials and professional workshops for adults that have lost their jobs. We work in alliance with ASPIRA P.R., Americares, ARECME, Hispanic Federation, Unidos for Puerto Rico, ODSEC , Comité Noviembre and other entities to support the effective healing and recovery of our communities.
